Congressional Chamber Alternative Energy Lighting

Have you been watching the United States Congress lately on CSPAN? My gosh those folks, out elected representatives, just cannot seem to behave themselves, in fact, it is a wonder they ever get anything done. Some say they don’t, which is hard to disagree with. Maybe that is a good thing, after all bureaucrats and politicians cannot do anything right anyway. Everything is a half ass compromise surrounded by bad execution and piss poor performance. I once read a cartoon stating Congress has gone FUBAR? I laughed and then almost cried as I realized that not only can they not full some of the people all the time, but even a lowly, bad drawing cartoonist could see thru their silly sound and fury and horrific hokum.

With all the shouting and carrying on in Congress which cannot seem to pass a bill without pork barrel flying off the pages, why not harvest some of that hot air for an alternative energy source. Maybe we can cut some spending there and shed a little light on the scene? After all we are the taxpayer’s and they work for us. If they are going to blow our hard earned money, why not turn out their lights in Congress and let the noisy, name calling debates run the lighting system? How so you say?

By placing large 4 x 8’ sandwich sheets with a taunt film to collect the vibrational energy and small copper lined tubes, hundreds of them running perpendicular to the sheets, with magnets inside bouncing back and forth. These magnets will charge a capacitor and be hooked up to an LED lighting system using fiber optics or reflectors, each one hooked up to a .2 to .5 watt light. With thousands of lights hooked up in a composite format it will light up the Halls and Chamber of the US Congress. So shout away you good for nothing scoundrels.

Currently this technology is being used in those little flashlights you see advertised on television that you shake and they light, but you never need batteries. This idea of lighting up the Congressional Chambers and Halls and even the underground escape tunnels is using that technology on a larger scale with miniaturized parts making up the guts between the sandwich sheets. Let there be light, thru vibrational energy and there was. Think on it.
