Non Renewable Energy Sources

Discover overlooked content sources you should be using.

A great way to drive search engine traffic to your website
is to keep adding new content. Content is King, as they
say. I have found two great sources of rarely used content
that is available to everyone, it is totally free but
hardly used.

The first is public domain content. This would include old
books that no longer have a copyright and are now part of
the public domain. There are even government publications
in the US that don't have a copyright. If this content is
relevant to the topic of your website, you are free to use
it. I am not a lawyer so you must provide your own due
diligence to verify it is content you can use.

At Gutenberg.org you can find old books that have been
converted into text files. There are some great titles that
you could add to your website. Most people ignore this
excellent source of content because it requires a lot of
work to format, split and convert these long text files
into web pages.

A second source of rarely used content is product data
feeds. These feeds are usually supplied in a text file or
CSV file. A csv file is just a text file where the values
are separated by a comma. You can get these feeds from
various affiliate networks such as ShareASale or Kolimbo.
These files are hardly used because they require a lot of
work to convert from a large text file into search engine
friendly web pages. Data feeds are a great source of
content that allow your visitors to view and buy products
from your website. Plus you can receive a commission for
every product purchase.

If you have the time, with some work and effort you can
convert these sources of content into hundreds of pages to
add to your website. If you want to save hours of time and
start using these sources of rarely used content in minutes
you should be using the new Instant Niche Content software
package.
