Progress Energy Florida

By Tommy Burrows

There's a part of me -- a small part of me -- that wants to believe that there is good in everyone. Well, despite an attempt at blind faith and lost optimism, I am finding the East-End an increasingly less tolerable residence. Perhaps it is the abbundance of apathetic teenagers with a slurred speech and a fame for their bodies of self-proclaimed kings and minds of their equally shameful inbred nephews. Maybe they are the reason, for their acts of vandalism, lost hopes of an education and a large family made up of philistinism for a human's well-being (as well as a way in which their life's decisions are based) and, of course, the trademark ignorance towards sexual protection.

If one wishes to have a greater understanding of Norfolk, it is no more than a simple task of imagining a destitute of homophobia, racism (and with that Nationalism) and perhaps a mall built where people's now transferred corpses lay to emulate a county that may have a clear distinction of how buses should run, or how a desolated patch of land may be ran.

One of the reasons that Norwich it self -- to the best of my knowledge -- has failed so miserably as a city is because it is based on the assumption that a lack of liberalism (by which I mean a consistently closed mind and an unwilling to move on) is a decent way of life. Not that I discourage any form of non-conformity; I do, however, see a flaw in boasting the Millennium Library as a tourist attraction wihle simultaneously promoting a hate for any culture that rejoiced the freedom of the slaves or even immigration of any form (that is, of course, neglecting the known history of all races evolving from Africa).

From what I have gathered from my near decade of dwelling in this bigoted, racist, homophobic and, of course, self-diluted area of expended land and wasted air, other regions of the United Kingdom look down on us. I ort ta stab dem.
